CHILDRENS HALLOWEEN PARTY

The Murray Foundation, in association with WestMARC and the Southern General Hospital, is hosting a Halloween Party at the Southern General Hospital for children suffering limb loss or absence.

INTER SUPPORT GROUPS CHRISTMAS QUIZ & PARTY

Teams from Support Groups across Scotland will come together for a Quiz/Party night to battle for the coveted Murray Foundation Quiz Trophy.

RUNNING MASTER CLASS

This event brought together prosthetic limb users with sports and rehabilitation specialists to try out fitness techniques and gain confidence in trying to run. 

SCOTTISH AMPUTEE OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

The Murray Foundation Scottish Amputee Open Golf Championship took place at Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld. 

MURRAY FOUNDATION CONFERENCE

The conference aims to provide an insight into a diverse range of subjects, which we hope appeals to all of those affected by limb loss or absence and those involved with their care. 

CASTLE SEMPLE FUN DAY

This is an event that provides something for all amputees and their families. It takes place on the shores of Castle Semple Loch in acres of wood and parkland at the Castle Semple Visitors Centre.

Complementary Therapy Days

In an attempt to offer a different approach to the problem of pain suffered by amputees, the Murray Foundation decided to organise Complementary Therapy Days.

Limbs with Attitude

This is a unique event, which offers amputees of all ages and levels the opportunity to try out a variety of sports and leisure pursuits, under the guidance of trained professionals, some of whom are themselves amputees.

Wet and Wild Day

This event gave amputees the opportunity to sail under the Forth Bridges in the morning and take to the water in the afternoon with exclusive use of the Royal Commonwealth Pool.

Prosthetics Demonstration Day

The idea of the Prosthetic Demonstration day is to offer amputees a balanced insight into some of the new prosthetic componentry being introduced into the market place.

Children's Parties

The Murray Foundation in conjunction with WestMARC and the Southern General Hospital NHS Trust organise parties for the younger children attending the centre.
